FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact info@auesome.co for more details.

Where can I start an AUesome Chapter?
Chapters can be started in any local community, whether it be in your school, city-wide, or state. They are not required to be official school or city clubs and can be independent entities run by you (and your friends!) operating under AUesome.
How large of a time commitment is this?
Starting an AUesome Chapter averages around 2-5 hours a month. Given that it is more of a self-paced learning experience, commitment can vary based on your time and interests. The only official meetings you have to attend are the onboarding session and our annual leadership get-together.
What criteria do I have to fulfill to lead a chapter?
We want to make our resources accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of personal background. We will accept anyone willing dedicate the time and energy to leading their club across the globe. We only ask that you be proficient in English.
Do I have to know a lot about neurodiversity before starting?
No! If you're not as familiar with neurodiversity but are willing to learn, being an AUesome Chapter lead would be a great opportunity for you.
